Bose Wave system DAB module update Thread starter JayCee Start date Jun 9, JayCee Distinguished Member. An elderly neighbour has one of these Wave systems with the DAB accessory module. He had unplugged it all then when he put it back together could not get the DAB to work and called me in.
In normal use the DAB input can be selected by pressing the FM button on the remote and the "Boselink" should appear in the display I connected this properly then I was able to get "Boselink" and DAB to appear in the display but the display stated "insert update disc" I did this and it appears to update, ejects the disc then shows "Complete" but then the unit switches off with only the clock display and when turned back on the same "insert update disc" appears and so on.
Can anyone tell me the procedure for using the update disc? I want to be able to rescan the DAB channels and this according to the manual is done by pressing and holding the MUTE button but it's not happening. The owner has the update disc but no update instructions which accompany it. Any assistance welcome. It works and now I have the Planet Rock update.

All I see is a little wheel turning under hub Events… Live logging just reports regular network traffic from sensors etc. If you just see the little wheel turning, the connection has been lost. Look at the Hub events list to see past events. You should see the start of the z-wave network repair there. Open that page in a separate tab first, the start the z-wave repair.

If you get those with an ID rather than a device name, this is most likely an orphaned device - you can check in My Devices whether you actually do have a device with that ID. If not, you can remove it by following these steps I just did that to remove the ten or so orphaned devices I had and after three more network repairs, I was able to get the network repaired without any errors :.
